We've arrived here in San Jose. The LORD was willing and mostly the airlines cooperated. We east-coast people are pretty beat --- some of us have now been up about 20 hours. Still the flights here showed in themselves the significance of the responsibility we have been given for this earth of ours. Some of us flew over the Midwest and could see the water everywhere. Others of us flew into San Jose from the west and saw smoke from the fires that have been burning north of the city. Our prayers are needed for all those who struggle to care for the land and for their homes.
